چکیده

There is limited formal mathematical analysis of one type of games — dynamic sequential games with large, or even infinitely large, planning horizons, from the point view of system controls. In this paper, we use a zero-sum game theoretical approach to address the disturbance attenuation analysis of state feedback Nash strategies for Dynamic Linear Quadratic Sequential Games (LQSGs) with uncertainties or disturbances. Based on the assumption that the disturbance will do the worst to the normal game players, we provide a simultaneous zero-sum game formulation between nature and each player, and a non-zero sum formulation among the players. For finite-horizon LQSGs, we first provide state feedback Nash strategies with optimal attenuation levels. Then we extend the approach to infinitehorizon LQSGs. We prove that the feedback system is Bounded Input Bounded Output (BIBO) stable with respect to the disturbances.

Linear Quadratic Stochastic Differential Games under Asymmetric Value of Information

This paper considers a variant of two-player linear quadratic stochastic differential games. In this framework, none of the players has access to the state observations for all the time, which restricts the possibility of continuous feedback strategies. However, they can observe the state intermittently at discrete time instances by paying some finite cost. Having on demand costly measurements ...

On the Stability of the Best Reply Map for Noncooperative Differential Games

Consider a differential game for two players in infinite time horizon, with exponentially discounted costs. A pair of feedback controls (u1(x), u ∗ 2(x)) is Nash equilibrium solution if u1 is the best strategy for Player 1 in reply to u ∗ 2, and u ∗ 2 is the best strategy for Player 2, in reply to u1. Aim of the present note is to investigate the stability of the best reply map: (u1, u2) 7→ (R1...

Asymptotic ε-Nash Equilibrium for 2 Order Two-Player Nonzero-sum Singular LQ Games with Decentralized Control

We propose a new equilibrium concept: asymptotic ε-Nash equilibrium for 2 order two-player nonzero-sum games where each player has a control-free cost functional quadratic in the system states over an infinite horizon and each player’s control strategy is constrained to be continuous linear state feedback. Based on each player’s singular control problem, the asymptotic ε-Nash equilibrium implem...

Mutually Quadratically Invariant Information Structures in Two-Team Stochastic Dynamic Games

Abstract—We formulate a two-team linear quadratic stochastic dynamic game featuring two opposing teams each with decentralized information structures. We introduce the concept of mutual quadratic invariance (MQI), which, analogously to quadratic invariance in (single team) decentralized control, defines a class of interacting information structures for the two teams under which optimal linear f...

Iteratively computation the Nash equilibrium points in the two-player positive games

We consider the linear quadratic differential games for positive linear systems with the feedback information structure and two players. The accelerated Newton method to obtain the stabilizing solution of a corresponding set of Riccati equations is presented in [6], where the convergence properties are established. In addition, the Lyapunov iterative method to compute the Nash equilibrium point...
